How to Get Funds to Cronos: A Step-by-Step Guide
Dear community, we have prepared a full step-by-step guide on how to get funds to Cronos — a blockchain where PegasusDAO’s tokens are accessible. So, if you want to participate in the PegasusDAO project and buy $SUS tokens or any other tokens on Cronos chain, this article will definitely be useful to you.
Let’s begin with the basics. PegasusDAO is Cronos’ first decentralized reserve protocol, and $SUS tokens are accessible on the Cronos Network (CRO). Cronos is the EVM chain running in parallel to the Crypto.org Chain. In other words, Cronos is Crypto.org’s parallel chain. The easiest way to deposit your funds to Cronos is to have a Crypto.com’s account. But it’s not the only way, of course.
Cronos also supports the Inter Blockchain Communications (IBC) protocol, which provides a bridge to the Cosmos ecosystem. This allows us to use its native token ATOM as one of the ways to get funds to Cronos Chain.
Eventually there will be three ways of getting money to Cronos Chain:
1️⃣ By using Crypto.com Exchange.
2️⃣ By buying ATOM, trading it for CRO and then bridging CRO from Crypto.org to Cronos Chain.
3️⃣ By buying CRO on Uniswap or any other CEX, then sending it to your ERC-20 wallet and using the Ethereum bridge.
The first two of the ways are already possible, while the third option will be available as soon as the Cronos–Ethereum bridge goes live, which is due in December or January.
🔎 How to set up your MetaMask wallet for Cronos Chain?
First of all, let’s see what we need to do to get our MetaMask ready to interact with the CRO ecosystem.
1️⃣ Open your MetaMask wallet on your browser
2️⃣ *Click* on Ethereum Mainnet, then *click* on Add Network
3️⃣ Fill the fields with the necessary information:
📌 Network Name: Cronos Chain
📌 New RPC URL: https://evm-cronos.crypto.org
📌 Chain ID: 25
📌 Currency Symbol: CRO
📌 Explorer: https://cronos.crypto.org/explorer
🔎 How to send funds to Cronos Chain
Next, let’s review the methods of transferring funds to Cronos Chain and acquiring CRO tokens:
1️⃣ By Using Crypto.com App and Exchange Platforms
It’s the simplest way to get your funds to Cronos Chain. All you need to do is register on Crypto.com and create an account. Then you can buy the CRO token on the app/exchange and withdraw directly to your MetaMask wallet which we have already set up for receiving CRO tokens.

2️⃣ By Buying ATOM Tokens
As we already mentioned, this is the more difficult method out of the two, but if you carefully follow all the points below, you’ll get it done without any problems, we’re sure!
Step 1️⃣. Download Keplr Wallet and save your seed phase (this is very important!).
Step 2️⃣. Buy ATOM from a CEX (Binance, Kucoin, Gate.io or any other).
Step 3️⃣. Send ATOM to your Keplr Wallet via Cosmos Chain (ATOM).
Step 4️⃣. Connect your Keplr wallet to Osmosis.
Step 5️⃣. Deposit ATOM to Osmosis from your Keplr Wallet.
Step 6️⃣. Using Osmosis, trade ATOM for CRO.
Step 7️⃣. Withdraw your CRO tokens from Osmosis to Crypto.org.
Step 8️⃣. Go to https://cronos.crypto.org/bridge/ and bridge the CRO tokens from Crypto.org to Cronos.
